First you should know something about black face.  Lately, yellow face has received more media attention due to poor representations of Asians in Hollywood and western media in general.  The latest offense was committed in the film Cloud Atlas.  In the past, Korean media has also received international press for black face. 

Assignment: Contextualize the music video within the broader conversations dealing with stereotypes of ethnicity / race.  Be warned that the conversations are broad and considerable.  You probably won't have the time or motivation to engage.  Do not attempt.
